Change your welcome message

Edit church settings
A simplified workspace illustration. Follow the specific steps below; the illustration is not a screenshot.

In Church home, choose Edit church settings. Your welcome message is the main heading visitors see. Keep it short and welcoming. Save and continue through the steps, then preview your homepage. Settings saves are private drafts. Visitors keep seeing the last published settings until an owner chooses Publish these settings on the Review step. Announcements and events have separate publishing controls.

  1. 1 Open Edit church settings.
  2. 2 Change the welcome message and save.
  3. 3 Open Preview saved settings draft, then publish from Review when ready.
