Recover an announcement or event

Open Saved versions & recovery beside an announcement or event. History shows saved versions from when this feature was enabled, not unsaved edits or older changes we never recorded. Owners and editors can recover a version into a separate unpublished draft. The original public notice, event or cancellation stays unchanged. Recovered announcements have normal priority, start today in the public church time zone and have no end date. Recovered events require new dates and get a new calendar identity. Recovery does not update previously downloaded calendars or send messages. Check wording, links and schedules before publishing. Only owners can change an announcement to emergency priority. History is not included in settings or event data exports.

1. 1 Read the saved text and original schedule in history.
2. 2 For an event, enter new start and end times; then confirm recovery into a separate draft.
3. 3 Open the Recovered draft in the list, edit it and preview before publishing. If the original changed, reload history before trying again.
